ALPLA Group to Construct an Injection Molding Plant in Kansas City
ALPLA group revealed in a recent announcement that the group will be constructing an injection molding plant in Kansas City. The plant is a part of group’s continued growth strategy in the injection molding market. As ALPLA is one of the leaders in the packaging sector, the plant will help the group to enhance innovation and facilitate the demand of the business.
The upcoming new plant will be ALPLA’s
fourth site in Missouri and the first dedicated to injection molding. The group
will be utilizing cutting edge technologies to produce innovative packaging
solutions, bottles, caps, and injection molded parts for a wide range of
industries. The project is expected to begin in late 2021 and the plant is
expected to become operational by the fourth quarter of 2022.
As per ChemAnalyst, “the proposed investment
by ALPLA group in the USA comes in the back of a reviving economy hence the
demand for polypropylene based injection molded products is also expected to
grow. The demand particularly from the automotive and construction sector is
expected to grow at a higher rate in the US as both the sectors are reviving.
Therefore, the investment by the group is aimed at capturing the growing
regional demand in the USA for injection molding products.”
